The Lovely Bones was literally the first book I've ever read and enjoyed, and when i found out they where making a movie on it i was so excited. From the moment i read the first line in the book i was taken in by it. This book is utterly amazing and the movie was just as great. Except for the changes in the movie and not showing main parts, i really did enjoy how they made this. The inbetween looked beautiful! im so glad i cried throughout the entire movie. It was incredible. I am upset that they took out most of the book, most people don't no that susie got raped , also the mom cheats with the detective and the sisters life with the boyfriend and the house he builds for her. What shocked me was that in the book most of the story was showing Ruth & Ray which in the movie they barely showed and in the movie Ray and Susie just kiss, in the book they share an "intimate time" together which resulted in her being on earth much more longer then the amount of time she was with him in the movie. I think people who didn't read the book and see the movie might be alittle confused, but it was amazing <3 The selection of actors and actress where actually very good. Each played their role amazing. Mr Harvey was so creepy! and everyone fit the part. I'm very happy with the outcome of this movie.
